The Happening: Bread and Butter Berlin

Last July 1-3, Bread and Butter unveiled a sneak peek into the future collections of some of my favorite brands. An international specialist trade fair for Street and Urban Wear, it brought together brands, labels, and designers with suppliers from the textile industry to make things happen and beautiful things appear. From the looks of things, more sweet collabs are on the way so get ready, folks!


Now for my favorites from the fair: Swear's SS 2010 collection which is every bit as sweet as its AW 2009 offerings. Looking at these was so sad though since I heard Theodore's won't be carrying the brand anymore. A void needs to be filled, so someone get a move on to get 'em here, stat!

I love the interplay of the leather, suede, and mustard sole

These black oxfords sure are a great choice for everyday office wear

A little Band of Outsiders x Sperry for the road won't hurt too. Again, another peek into the sheer brilliance of my idol, Mr. Scott Sternberg.

I am loving the use of the high-top variation on the Topsiders

The gray felt too was a very nice touch
