Music's biggest night went down last night and no, I didn't get to watch all of it. Thank God for the internets though because I was still able to catch (and this is without seeing any of the others) what in my honest opinion was the best performance of the esteemed awards show!
Yeah, it may not have been as stylish as my favorite from last year but this performance of "Drop the World" and "Forever" is straight up rap at its finest. The past in Eminem, the present in Lil Wayne, and the future in Drake - it just doesn't get any better than this. (Well, Kanye could have performed his verse too, but he wasn't even in the building). With the incomparable Quentin Tarantino throwing down some mad hype and Blink 182's Travis Barker on the drums, it was yet another home run for hip-hop at the Grammy's. 2 years in a row? Whoud've thunk it right?
