The Item: Narrative Fringed Loafers

I've always maintained that ladies are more fortunate than us gents when it comes to clothes and shoes. Case in point: the fringe detailing on women's footwear I've been eyeing in stores since late last year. To level the playing field somewhat, some chap at Narrative finally decided to put these ornamental appendages on some good 'ole man loafers!

While not a new idea by any means (I've seen fringed loafers worn by many a daddy in my childhood), it is refreshing to see such shoes released for the youngins all over the world now. Could it be that our generation's taste is becoming more and more refined? Or is mine just getting older and more mature? Whatever the answer, the shoes make a great alternative to the everyday sneakers that everyone seems to have accepted as the norm.

Imagine the shoes without the fringes. A bit boring, yes?
