Today marks the 100th year of Frederick John Perry, a tennis legend who has gifted the world many great sporting moments, but more importantly, one of the most iconic brands that ever existed.
To celebrate this epic milestone, the folks over at Fred Perry Manila posted some photos of "customers, patrons, loyalists, inductees, and friends" to showcase the versatility of Fred's many amazing pieces. From news anchor to executive, celebrity to entrepreneur, even down to this lil' ole' blogger right 'ere, Fred Perry is truly a brand that personifies permanent style to the end.
So drinks up, ladies and gents, and together let's toast to this pioneer of both sport and style. Have a good one, Fred! Hope you're still lighting 'em up in style in them tennis courts in heaven!
Here are some sneak "pics" (sorry) from the gallery. For the whole enchilada, click the link here. (I think you have to be their friend on Facebook to see 'em, to which I ask, "What's taking you so damn long?" if you are not.)
