It's been raining like crazy these past few days. Last time I checked, it was just the start of May, wasn't it? Plus, it's been hot as hell during mornings. Which leads me to ask: What the hell is going on with the weather? I don't know about you, but all this incessant downpours have got me searching for a fitting jacket in anticipation of the wet season ahead. And ding, ding, ding, I think we have a winner.
Now this may not fly for everyone who's used to my preferences, but to hell with it. I'm breaking free on this one. When it comes to practicality, nothing trumps this Nike Nylon Windbreaker. I was a skeptic at first, but when I got it from the rack at the Nike Outlet and tried it on, man, I couldn't believe how light it is.
That works to my advantage in two ways: 1) it's wearable in the tropics after the rain stops and 2) you can crumple it up into a small ball and pack it in your bag if you don't want to rock it anymore. But then again, why would you not want to? The black and gray colorway is one of the most workable combos in dressing and the slight sheen on these bad boys are reminiscent of leather jackets without the leather part. Overall, a sweet deal at P2000 at the Paseo de Sta. Rosa en route to Tagaytay!
